Every once in a while it’s fun to get away from all the seriousness of composition, values, tones, etc. and just see what happens when you play with a single color.
After a full day of tiny detail work on a pine forest I just needed to get away.
Do you do this? What do you do when you just want to escape your more involved works?
This is beautiful. I think it is very important to step away sometimes and switch direction, do something with self imposed constraints. Give the mind a rest or at least change of perspective. I look forward to seeing much more of your beautiful art here. Thank you for the inspiration.
