Student watercolors day 2 : Sonnet by White Nights

I think this is the best student palette I’ve used over the years.

These come as 24 full pans and the price is super reasonable.

This is the first time I’ve used a student palette and had difficulty telling it was student grade. I have the professional sets as well, and I was surprised by how vibrant and pigmented these are in comparison.

The paint is rich and saturated and stays that way even when dry. There is no powdery effect upon drying, even after layering.

There’s a nice selection of colors that would work for any situation.

I found that these mix very well and they spread easily when doing wet on wet.

If you are on a limited budget and looking for a great beginner’s set. These would work well.

Just as an aside, these are all art supplies I bought for my personal collection. I don’t get them free, nor do I do these reviews based on what a company wants.
